New Heights Chiropractic and our providers are continuously striving to provide patients with the highest standard of care possible. Over the last several years, we have steadily become one of the most well-known and reputable offices in Highlands Ranch thanks to many of you reading this newsletter. The welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff, multidisciplinary setting, and individualized attention are what really make New Heights Chiropractic unique.
Our providers annually pursue challenging certifications and specializations in order to advance their knowledge base and continue to establish themselves as the best in the community. It has always been, and will continue to be, a priority to provide these specialties to our patients at an affordable price. This leads us to the point.
**Beginning September 1st, 2014, we will be updating our fee schedule for the first time.**
Each year the cost of operating a small business increases, and each year since opening our new location we have managed to prevent any price increase at all for our chiropractic services. However, due to rising operation costs, advanced education, and our relentless drive to improve patient care, we have decided that it is finally time to adjust our pricing structure. Please see below for an overview.
This update will affect our chiropractic cash services ONLY and thus will primarily impact our cash paying patients and Out-of-Network insurance patients.
In-Network insurance patients will NOT be affected by the new fee schedule changes due to our contracted rates with those insurance companies.
Massage and Acupuncture fees will NOT be affected at this time.
Old PricingNew Pricing
Adjustment Only $48 $52
ART Only $48 $56
Adjustment & ART $60 $68
Kinesio Tape App $10 $12
*The above prices reflect a 20% discount based upon our actual fees and must be paid at the time of service to be utilized.
We greatly appreciate your understanding during this transition and thank you again for taking your health to New Heights! – The New Heights Team
We would like to officially introduce the newest member of the New Heights team…. Melody Tillery! Melody joined our crew in May and is working as our front desk receptionist along with Alli. She is in the office Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings so make sure to say hello the next time you are in!
Back to School
As kids return to school there are some important health tips that they should remember, including how to maintain good posture! Kids, like many adults, spend their days seated at desks and tend to round their shoulders, jut their chins, and flex their lower back. Over time, this type of poor positioning can cause structural changes as a child develops that can eventually lead to pain. Here are ways to help improve posture:
Shoulder Blade Squeeze:
Sitting up straight, slowly draw your shoulder blades down and back until they are squeezing in the center of your back. Hold for a few seconds and release. 10-15 shoulder blade squeezes a few times a day will help prevent rounding shoulders.
Looking straight ahead, tuck your chin back until you feel a slight stretch on the back of the head and neck. Hold for a few seconds and release. 10-15 chin tucks a few times a day will help combat forward translation of your head on your neck.
Core Stability Exercise:
Simple exercises designed to strengthen your core such as planks, side-planks, bird-dogs, and dead bugs will help stabilize your lumbar spine.
